STOP
It’s not fun to stand at the street corner and hear God is coming back to Earth to smite the unholy, the sinners, the miscreants who mistreat each other and the Mother. But yet the people stand there preaching! hoping! the others will listen and change their ways, to treat each other with kindness and respect; just as long as they aren’t gay.
KIDDING the homophobes are part of the bigotry problem of people in power scared of their shadows.
But back to the point. Those standing near recycling bins and desperately blocking trees from carnivorous machines are reminiscent of those screaming of the coming reckoning. How can we expect people who just want to be content and happy with their lives to listen when we are screaming blood! murder! and mayhem.
We must make it a game.
Make it fun to sort their waste and compost. Make it enjoyable to get outside and enjoy nature. Make it easy to fall in love with yourself and those doing the hard, conscious, retrospective work.
It is time we all chipped, for many hands make light work.
We got this! Keep doing the absolutely incredible job of just being you. I love you. Thank you. You are doing the best you can. So next time someone throws something in the correct can, give them a high five and a sticker, pat them on the back and make them know they are a winner.
When we all do our part things come a lot easier with a whole heck of a lot more heart.
